Why Do Conservatives hates Liberals, other Americans?

What is up? why all the hate? Winning an argument is great. I love trying to win a debate or an argument. I love trying to get someone to change their mind and for me to prove I am right. Liberals are worse than Russians. In 2016 election, Trump supporters liked Putin over Hillary Clinton? Why? WTF? Why the need to troll, to own the libs? Why the need to hate? Why would you never agree or vote for the other party? why would a conservative never vote for a liberal, especially when there are more common economic links than ever before. Liberals are not Americans? Liberals are criminals? Pedophiles? Sex rings? really? We are Americans and love our country. I do not know any liberal that hates their country, even Rosie O'Donnell who moved away. I might complain, bitch and be upset over some item, the past, an event, but I love my country and the Constittution. I love my fellow Americans. All Americans want to live a life in freedom, in peace. Americans want good doctors, good roads, good schools. Americans want to be safe and protected. Americans want the same thing, but how we get there is different. We do have the same belief in American ideals: individual worth, compromise, free enterprise, equality, limited government. We even might have different definitions on these ideals but we agree on most of them. We love our country. Conservatives and liberals love our country. Why all of the hate on Liberals? Liberals are not the enemy? Liberals are not criminals, marxist, communnist hating America people. We believe in the flag, the country, the Constittuion. We love the country with all of our heart, just like Conservatives. Many liberals are religious and if they are not they do not want your church destroyed or eliminated. Liberals do not want open borders and they are not trying to cheat by allowing undocumented people to vote. They do not even know what the White Replacement theory is and have not heard of it (most Americans). Liberals believe in the value and worth of immigrants. We have a border and always did, and you could not just cross without showing documents-that is not an open border. (Please remember we had open borders from 1492-1920-no issues with border at all-see Ellis Island). We do not want criminals, drug dealders, cartel members or terrorists coming into the country. We like due process to know who we are putting in jail, or removing from the country-it is in the Constittuion-use it. Liberals support public education and want public schools to be great, the best. We just do not think helping private schools, with vouchers and school choice is the answer. Arizona has been a big promoter of vouchers and private schools, homeschooling and if these worked, AZ would be improving in education not getting worse. The federal government cannot support both public schools and pay for private schools too and keep the standards high with low taxes and cutting budgets. Liberals are not pro abortion and want every woman to get an abortion. It is a choice and as a conservative, you should not want the government making health care decisions for you. A conservative wants government not to be involved in a personal, important family decision. It is not my call unless I am in the situation. If I am in the situation with a surprise pregancy, the decision should be between my doctor, my wife, my family, not a legislature or governor or President. Most issues can be compromise-taxes, spending, health care, debt, libraries, roads-we do not have to hate each other on these. The culture wars are made up by the media. Abortion, death penalty, guns, church and god are culture ideas we can live together with-we might not agree but we do not need to hate and dispise each other. I do not know the facts but I would guess that abortions are performed for both liberals, conservatives and independents, non affliated-you can't tell me only liberals have abortions. Liberals have and love guns, just like conservatives. The trans issue is mostly about women's sports and is a tough issue-only 50 trans female athletes in high school and college with over 500,000 athletes-not a big number to cause all the fuss. I thought conservatives were about freedom to live and let live-to be left alone-well, why not with trans people-all trans people. They are not evil or the devil. Gay and lesbians, bi people are not evil or the devil-they want to live a peaceful life without drama. Have any of these people hurt you? How? Have they destroyed your life, because many of their lives have been trampled on and suicide rates on LGBTQ are higher than any other demographic group. Part of an issue that liberals have with conservatives is that you do not practice Jesus teachings: love your neighbor, blessed are the meek, the poor, help the stranger. Liberals do not see conservatives practice Jesus or Christian teachings-we see hate and biogtry-that is not Jesus but the current church. We Americans have more in common than not. We work, travel, go to stores and help each other daily. We go to sport events, movies together and love the events. We are daily with and around each other and get along. We are kind 95% of the time. It is only when we talk politcs or religion we get off the mark. And most of the hate is online not in person. Don't hate, listen. Listen to other points of view and be empathetic-see from the other point of view. Be kind. Be loving. Be caring. Be human Listen. We are all people. We are all Americans. Love each other.

Why I quit Teaching

Teaching for 22 years was fun. In my classe, we could have discussions and talk about slavery, civil rights, gay marriage or gay rights, women's rights and equlity. Talking, discussing and challenging each other was interesting and fun. Students would have points of view, were respectful and talked. We had no omplaints, no parent calls, no questioning "is this in the curriculum?" I would have students bring in and talk about current events, election news and laws or Supreme Court cases. We had school wide and class elections on current candidates and subjects. It was fun to talk and discuss politics, history and government. Sometimes a class was conservative and i wopuld bring up liberal point of view and sometimes the class was liberal and I brought up the conservative point of view. I would quote Regean, Obama, Bush, Carter, Clinton and Trump. I would say when they were right and wrong. We would discuss the Constitution court cases. Now, I have to watch what I say?!! Did I offend anyone? Did I say something wrong? Did a student say something wrong? Is the textbook biased? Can we discuss racial issues? Can we discuss equality? Equity? The textbooks are attachked and the question is, do we we discuss January 6 or September 11? Is slavery a topic to talk about? 3/5 compromise? Would I say something wrong? Was it needed? Hell, even you are welcome here is seen as political. Students can feel open to discriminate, talk poorly about someone. I never gave referrals until the end when students were mean to other students. They were offensive but nothing was done. I sent title 9 referrals and the District did nothing. White students were protected from feeling upset but minoority students were not protected. The "N word" was heard more and more. Language got wrorsee and worse. It was ugly at the end of my career I had students say rude things to other students in front of the class. We had rules to protect the safety of students, but the administration did not back up the teachers. The parents who were loudest won. Parents were banning books and asking for my curriculum, my lesson plan, they won. I had students complete market research for our Market Day project, and the groups were asking for pronouns and this was seen by the GoldWater Institute as a violation and issue for my teaching-it was done by students, for my students but the survey asking for pronouns was seens as harmful and poor teaching. Individual teachers and lessons in Arizona were attacked and contacted to back up their lessons. I limited my Socratic seminars and limited the discussions in my classroom. I had to change nmy teaching methods and curriculum so not to get in trouble or the get on the radar of groups. No teacher or school district indoctrinates students. We are not promoting a gay lifestyle or any lifestyle. We want to be nice and suppoert students. We are not liberal trolls or bots telling students what to think or believe. Critial thinking is both required and needed and then attaked by parents and students. Critical thinking means we want students to see all sides, get research, information and listen. We want students to lear but we want students protected and to feel safe. some students do not want to listen or hear from anything different. I do not nor have , nor do I seen any teacher have an agenda for students. I do not want nor have I seen anyone in my departemebnt want to embarass studebnts or make them feel bad or wrong. We want students to look at both sides, to think and decide for themselves. We want students to see our history, the good and bad and make up their own opinions. In my class and at my schools, everyone is American, everyone is human. Can we not see good in everyone? Is this so bad? I see students act as snowflakes on both sides. Students will complain and point fingers at each other. Students think that each side is wrong, each side is unAmerican or each side is "dumb, stupid or other degrotatory terms. We see the other side as corrupt, facts are wrong, can't think. This gets overwhelming, it gets emotional and it hurts. It makes the day go longer and teachers have to react or corret students and this is difficult in this environment. Teaching is no longer fun when students do not want to listen or respect other view points. Teaching is not longer exciting or helpful when everyone is looking for a mistake or did he say that?!?! I am sad. I am longful for the old days. Were they so different? What changed? what haopened? Teaching is no longer fun? I do not see teachers respected, or helped. I see teahcers and education attacked, challenged and seen as the enemy. We are not the enemy. We are neighbors, friends. experts in our curriculum. We know the subject and students. We are disregarded and thrown aside. We are attacked as bad people, liberal and out of touch. I loved my students and I loved my job. I loved coming to work and talking and creating lessons. I loved my work and loved my career. Times have changed. People have changed. I do not love teaching anymore. this is so sad.

Are we too divided? Should we Split up? Are we the United States?

We have been divided before. In our founding, the Federalists and Antifederalists had major differences and we might have been one vote away from a League of Friendship like Europe forever. From the pre Civil War, civil War and Reconstruction we lost over 600,000 people and had a war showing our differences. In the 1960's we had cities burning, riots, protests and assisinations. So is today the most divided we have ever been? No. It does seem that the Supreme Court and Republican party are making many moves, laws, rights according to States Rights and brining us to the Articles of Confederation. The Supremacy clause is being ignored by states, courts and institutions. We are having decisions like Dobbs that what rights you have depends on the state you live in. 10 Commandments in classes, due process for people, the Bible in classes, what is taught in history (non white or minority history being erased), birth control, gun rights, death penalty are all state by state issues now, and people are ok with this. I always aske my class, should we become 50 different countries or divide up geographically or politically. Everyone says no, we like the United States. Seems the idea is great but the practice is we are separate countries. Where a girl is born is a huge consequence today. If you are LGBTQ, you are losing rights faster than you know it and where you live is critical. If we were the United States, the rights you have would be identical in all states. The freedom of speech is seen as universal in all states, but it is being attacked too. But some rights are national and then others are by state. This is chaotic, problematic and causes stress and concern to people's lives and circumstances. We need to decide to divide or if we truly are the United States, act like it. Politicans, governors, senators and justices need to look at the Supremacy clause, the Constitution and follow it as it was supposed to be. States were not all powerful under the Constitution, they had s sphere of influence but not a separe country. It seems like the US is drifting and we do not know where we are going. People are confused and politicans are trying to hold onto power. Chaos is here. The Courts will not help us, they are giving power away and acting like Confederates. Any thoughts? Should we divide? Is there hope to come together and be the United States. I hope so. My wish is yes. We have more in common then we think. We work, go to the store, go to games, movies and we act kindly, safely and nicely. We are a good people. We can come togehter, we just have to start thinking it is possible. We have to believe and act like it accordingly.

When will we take to the streets?

We know our politicans will not listen to the people. We vote, we go to meetings, we call our represetatives. We write letters, we complain. 88% of all American favor background checks on all gun sales. 77% of Americans favor family initiated red flag laws and 70% of Americans favor red flag laws initiated by police and law enforcement. Most Americans agree we do not want to live with school shootings. Americans believe something must be done. We are in agreement. Our solutions can be different but the goal is the same. School shootings are not to be a new normal, just a regular day. We, teachers, students, staff, faculty, parents, family, friends, are frustrated with nothing being done to solve or work on this issue. We know politicans will do nothing more than thoughts and prayers. Thoughts and prayers solve nothing. We need to do something. We need to force politicans to act. We, the people, need to act. Letters, phone calls, meetings, voting or the usual tactics do not work. Nothing got done after Sandy Hook-this is proof the politicans are not going to do anything, ever, unless forced to do so. We have had protests before. We had the Women's March on Saturdays, protests on Sunday. The time is to shut the country down. It is time for all schools to close. Business in support to close. It is time to shut down airports and travel, time to stop business, traffic and get attention. A general strike. A day, two, three where we stop and make politicans take notice. Americans are frustrated, angry, upset. School shootings are not right-good or normal. They did not happen in my school years-1967-1979. They did not happen in the 1980's. Even with Columbine in 1990's they were not normal. Today, this is a common event. People MUST act! People must take to streets on work day. Students, teachers, staff not for pay or benefits but for our student's life. Not for economics but for life. It starts in school because the shootings are in schools, but they grow. Whoever supports the cause, takes time off. Who ever supports life and students strikes, stops for a day. One day can lead to another until politicans change their ways. Until politicans make changes. When are you tired? When is enough? We must begin!! We must take to the streets. We must have a general strike, for life. Support life, support schools, teachers and your children. Lockdown drills need to become a thing of the past. Strike and show the politicans we are angry, mad and not going to take it anymore!! Strike. Pick a day. Pick a week. School ends in May for many. Pick a time. Be heard. Strike. Join, ask and be heard. Taking it to the streets. Are you there yet?

The Case for Public Education

Public education plays a critical role in ensuring that all individuals have access to the opportunities they need to reach their full potential and contribute to the well-being of their communities.

Supreme Court Checks

The US has a minority, rogue, Supreme Court that is setting an agenda against the will of the people. Alexander Hamilton in Federalist 78, said the judicial branch and Supreme Court was the weakest branch. It had only the "power of the pen" not the power of the purse or military. So do not be sad, do not worry, there are choices and ways to check the Supreme Court: 1) Constitutional amendment-hard to do-even Flag burning amendment failed after Texas v Johnson. Requires 2/3 vote of Congress and 3/4 of State legilatures or conventions. Won't happen on this any recent court decisions recently. 2) Impeachment-House can do-Cases can be made for Thomas, Gorsuch, Kavannaugh and Comey Barrett. Har to prove lying and need 2/3 of Senate-67 votes, will not happen. 3) Increase size of court. Last time was changed was to 9, 9 circuit courts, 9 justices. The theme today is 13 circuit courts, 13 justices. Requires 60 votes to stop fillibuster in Senate. House can approve, Senate will not. 4) Congress cannot change salary of existing justices but Congress can change funding for staff, administration. Hurts all sides and not effective with change. 5) Congress can pass a law for example codifying Roe. or changing Civil Rights. Can require 60 votes in Senate, House will pass. Issue is Supreme Court could strike down law, change law. 6) Congress can add courts, another level. Congress can add administrative courts. Cobgress can take away courts, change districts, change circuit courts. Congress created lower courts, they can abolish or change them. House can pass, Senate needs 60 votes. President and States do not have to enforce the laws. Maine does not have to do what Supreme Court said and give taxpayer money to private schools. Federal Government does not have to obey WVA v EPA ruling and just enforce as they want. The President and States enforce laws, the Supreme Court has no power here. See Brown, the President sent troops to enforce. If he did not, the States win. See Jackson in the Trail of Tears case, he ignored the Supreme Court decision. 7) Congress can change jurisdication for the appellate cases the Supreme Court case hears. For every law, Congress passes, they can add a section, Supreme Court cannnot decide this case. You can do this for any law. In article 3, section 2, the exceptions for appellate jurisdiction is up to Congress. Congress can codify Abortion, Health care, Voting right and then state Supreme Court has no jurisdiction-it is in the Constituion. It has been done in the past. Best solution. Now all of the problems in passing laws are in the Senate. The fillibuster is not in the Constitution. It is there for Southern Democrats against removing Jim Crow laws or slavery,. I do suggest getting rid of the fillibuster. I live in AZ and the House and Senate is evenly splet but Republicans have slight majority. They are passing draconian measures but they have one seat lead in Senate and can do-no fillibuster. This is normal in most states. The Senate can end the fillibuster forever or based on a concept-voting rights, womens rights, abortion, gay rights. An exception for one vote can be done. If the Sentate votes on any bill, it must RESTRICT the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court-even revenue bills. Any bill. The Supreme Court would get rid of Social Security, all agencies, womens rights, gay rights and maybe even Federal Reserve, banking, commerce laws. They want to go back to 1800s, so any law passed must have this-Supreme Court has no jurisdiction to review. It is in the Constitution in Artilce 3-no denying this. It must be followed. Any Republican Congress can do the same, but it is a solution to codifying Roe, Obamacare, Civil rights, voting rights. It is best way.How to pass it? End the fillibuster. End Fillibuster now. End minority rule. It is minority rights, majority rule.

History of Supreme Court-Mostly conservative activism

All I hear from Conservatives is that the Supreme Court is so liberal and has been so liberal for so many years. Liberals use Judicial activsm. Judicial activism is a dirty word. Looking at the Constitution today and not as the founders wanted is frowned upon. Well, looking at history, we have ONLY had 30 years of a liberal to semi liberal court-: 1955 to 1985. The rest of the time, we have had Conservative justices and conservative activsm. In the 1800's, the Marshall Court-would not say liberal but established Judicial Review and power of the Courts. We have Marbury v Madison and McCulloch v Maryland which basically state we have judicial review and implied powers. Important, crticial cases but non controversial.In Worchester v GA, Supreme Court struck down GA law infringing on Nativa American rights and the court followed US treaty law-not liberal, but conservative holding up US laws/treaties. PS Andrew Jackson did not enforce ruling and let Trail of Tears happen-said the Supreme Court could enforce their own laws-which they can't. Later, we got Dred Scott and allowing slavery, Corporations got individual rights using the 14th Amendment by our Conservative courts and Plessy v Ferguson and upholding Jim Crow laws. Chinese Exclusion laws allowed. The Courts helped business and the rich, did not make any cases helping people. Many decisions seen as activist and conservative In the early 20th century, the Supreme Court allowed Child Labor, ruled against state laws for pay requirements and hours or economic cases. Workers lost all cases during this time. We get Schneck v US, Gitlow v NY which allow restrictions on speech and government restrictions in war time. We get Buck ve Bell with disallowing people with low IQ having children-ps this is still in force. Always ranked one of worst cases decided ever. 1930's we got the Supreme Court upholding Roosevelt's New Deal as it applies to commerce clause and taxing clause and implied powers. These were conservative jusdges but these laws could be overturned by the current court as they do not believe in precedent, commerce clause and implied powers. This court did give us Korematsu and other cases limiting Japanese American Rights, limiting African American Rights. What did the Liberal Courts give US: Desegregation of Schools with Brown v Board of Education, school prayer removed withe Engel v Vitale, Miranda Rights, Right to an Attorney paid by States in Gideon, Brandenburg V Ohio and speech rights as long as it does not cause a riot or immenent harm, Right to Privacy in Griswold, Right to interracial Marriage in Loving and womens rights in pay, equality in multiple cases in the 1970's won by Ruth Bader Ginsberg. THe Court turned right in 1980 under Reinquist but we did have some cases that helped liberals-Texas v Johnson and flag burning was allowed, Roe V Wade was upheld but States were allowed to put restrictions with the Casey v Planned Parenthood, Restrictions of school rights in Bethel v Fraser, Veronia Schools. The Court got more conservative in 1990's and 2000s. Rights in schools were removed or limited again in New Jersey v TLO, Gay Rights were expanded by 5-4 majorities with Bowers v Hardwick overturned and Obgerfell and Windsor allowing gay marriage. The Supreme Court decided a Presidential election in 2000. The Court allowed torture and restricting Writ of Habeas Corpus rights and taking away rights of privacy upholding the Patriot Act. The court restricted abortion and upheld state restrictions. The Conservative Court has changed the meaning of the second amendment and giving people an individual right to own a gun-activism breaking 200 years of precedent. They gave Corporation more rights-right to speech with Citizens United and Religious rights with Hobby Lobby. They have reduced Roe v Wade, limited Voting Rights-Shelby states there is no more discrimination in the US, allowing poll taxes and voter restrictions, the court has limited criminal rights with Miranda and helping police. Overall the Conservative Courts have allowed slavery, Jim Crow laws and laws upholding discrimination against Blacks, workers and women. Conservative courts have given Corporation Rights with religion and speech, have given the right to own guns-including owning almost all guns plus removing safety concerns or public safety laws by State. Conservative courts have gone againts Voting Rights, victims rights and allowing relgion and prayer in schools. Conservative courts are helping to dismantel public education with private edudation. Conservative courts are going against precedent with government regulations in the Executive Branh. Conservative justices are just as or even more activist than liberal courts and judges. Conservative justices do not have a problem contracting themselves, using originalism, precedent, restraint and making up rules and laws. The Conservatives do not use the Federalist Papers or text of the Constitution-or they selectivly pick parts not the entire document. Corporations are people? really? Money is speech? Really? 14th amendment applies to Corporations?Really? Discrimination in US does not exist? Really? Separation of Church and state does not exist? Really, if no, what does the First amendment say? If No, the Court is ready to let States have a state religion? The Conservative justices are ruling on their politics and beliefs. They are contracting themselves in rulings in one week. They are forgetting the Constittuion. his is activism! This is the Supreme Court run amok. We have had 216 years of Conservative rulings-mostly bad and terrible and 30 years of Liberal rulings. Which ones do you like? prefer: In no set order or reaons-just liberal and conservative: Dred Scott v Sanford or Brown v Board of Ed? Plessy v Ferguson or Gideon v Wainright Buck v Bell or Griswold v CT? Korematsu v US or Miranda v AZ Bush v Gore or Loving v VA? Citizens United or Tinerk v Des Moines SUSD Lochner v NY or Obgerfell v Hodges? Schneck v US or Baker v Carr Miller v US or DC v Heller? There are more bad cases than good cases. The Supreme Court has got more wrong than right. We are losing trust for a reason. It is a political instittuion now. Not due to leaks but poor law, poor decisions, poor reasoning, poor background, poor politics. We get what we sow. The 2016 election has consequences and we will have them for 50 or more years. But realize, the Court has mostly been conservative. Rule by white males-conservative and not using the law. I am scared of the future. I am scared of the next term. What will the court do or undo? What precedent will they overturn?

Republicans want to END Public Education; Admit it!!

I want Republicans to just admit they want to defund and end public education. They are supporting vouchers, giving public money to private schools, religious schools. You hear choice! What choice means is charter schools, private schools and religious schools have the choice to take your child. If a smart, promising child, they take them. If not, go to public education. That is the state of education now. Less and less money is going to public education. Private schools, charter schools have no accountability. Teachers and schools have no accountability on scores, results or uses of money. The State of Arizona has been a proponent of choice and charter schools since the 1990's. We have so many charter schools and based on choice and the charter schools, AZ should be increasing in results. We have declined and gone to the bottom and there are stores in AZ Republic of misue of funds, politicans benefiting from charter school laws and funding. This whole situation is corrupt. Finland has been ranked at the top of Education ranking for years. Things they do: 1) no private education is funded and very few allowed 2) Masters and teacher training program as teachers make more than or the same as Doctors, 3) No homework, 4) play and fun in learning plus more. Republicans are promoting Homeschooling and anyone can be a teacher. Republicans are removing unions in Education and tenure which protects me to actually teach about the Constitution, 3/5 compromise, 2nd Amendment original intent, and slavery, and religion. Getting rid of tenure means I can be fired for a bumper sticker (happened in Glendale in AZ in 2012) or teaching current events or January 6 or about Donald Trump!. Republicans really do not want or like public education. Russ Limbaugh has said many times and I see posts today how Public Education is radical, we indoctrinate students and promote gayness, trans students and communism. Private schools and charter schools run by corporations is the Republican solution. They want to reduce taxes, have no money and reduce funding in education. It is nationwide. I wish more were honest and say the truth. These policies are there to hurt public education. You hear a few state this but the dog whisltes are there-choice, competition, vouchers are all ways to negate public education and hurt public schools. The Republican party goal is to privitize education or make it so awful, we get rid of it. Do you agree with this? Yes education has issues. Yes it can be better. We do have waste and we do have issues. I love my job and I believe my school teaches and students learn. Students learn the curriculum and do well on tests that the State requires. My students learn and remember. Even with the hardships-no textbooks, less funding, holes in ceilings, poor maintenance, students are still learning and doing well. Keep public education and support public education. Support all students. Reduce vouchers. We can come up with funding issues, we can come up with improvements but giving money and support to private or relgious or charter schools are not the answer. Support the youth! Support education!!!

FoRequirements for Pro Life States and Lawmakers

Right now we have seen Roe v Wade overturned. This is what the Federal Government and people in these States should demand. All States that outlaw abortion must agree to these to actually use the terms PRO LIFE. Pro life includes after birth. 1) Expand Medicaid to include people of poverty. Most people who would be denied abortions are the poor-so you have to pay for their healthcare, birth to 18-no exceptions 2) Add parental leave to parents in these states-required and paid for by the States 3) Increase funding for education. Increase funding in low income, city and diversde places.If you are forcing birth, you need to pay for the education. 4) Increase funding for school lunch programs 5) Increase access and funding for health care-espcially funding for birth and health of children after born. If you are forcing birth, you need to pay for it. 6) Increase funding for food stamps, welfare and funding for poor-if you are requiring a birth, you need to pay for it. 7) Raise minimum wage, especially for women who are single motthers 8) Increase funding and support for Foster care. Make sure all Foster parents are qualified and can support children. Increase funding and support children 9) Increase funding for adoption agencies-give them money to find and support children. 10) Increase funding for mental health for children that are adopted, born out of wedlock, forced birth 11) Increase the penalty for rape to be more than an abortion 12) Require men to pay child support-make sure it is a minimum of $400 per month or more-depending on the state-men MUST pay for the choldren not matter if women remarry or have other support. The father must pay their support until 18. 13) Require any birth that is forced, the man's health insurance is responsible. 14) If a woman dies from illegal abortion or her life is hurt, the man is legally liable and responsible for that death or health issue. 15) No lawmaker, no justice nor their family can obtain an abortion in a State where it is legal-they must follow their state laws and obtain the punishment a woman would receive. 16) Death penalty abolished, especially in cases where child is born of out of wedlock, forced birth or unwanted pregnancy. For all of these, the States must raise taxes or pay out of pocket. They cannot reduce services to the poor, to women to other services. If these States are pro life, they must support and pay for all life, no issues. Taxes should be raised. These can change and more can be added. States that are pro life must support the lives that they forced. They need to support women rights, children's rights and the poor. Any State that requires forced birth and outlaws contraception or abortion, MUST be required to do these things. The Federal government can do this. They can require this. See if these States are hypocrits? Are they just pro fetus? Are they really pro life? Pro children?

Originalism and Court Decisions

We will read about the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v Wade very soon in the Dobbs case. Do tell? 2) Regulated is in the 2nd amendment-what regulations are ok? It is the only amendment with the word regulation, but you are striking down regulations? Why? Look at original draft and all cases up until Heller 2008-it was about Militia not individual right-you MADE THIS UP. See above, Madison gave religious exception due to it was for service not right to carry gun. 3) What is speech? money? MADE UP!, Corporations are people-MADE UP, symbolic speech--MADE UP 4) What is orginalism? Blacks have no rights? Women no rights? only white males with property-please explain your theory in detail as it is NOT in the FEDERALIST PAPERS!!!! 5) If you lie under oath, should you JUSTICES be prosecuted or are you immune? 6) What does precedent mean to you? You can break it but no one else? 7) Why can you make a decision on a case when you have a conflict of interest? Why does the judge himself/herself decide? A conflict undermines the Court, but you do not care? 8) Why is Roe v Wade originalism but DC v Heller not? Or Citizens United not? Inflation and the Economy

I teach economics. I majored in economics. I read and study economics. I learn new things from other AP Macro teachers and the Economist and WSJ. I see stupid comments and memes on Twitter and all social media. While complicated, Economics can explain inflation. Please ask me any questions. What is happening with prices can be for the most part explained by supply and demand, market structure, monopolistic competition. No President sets any prices including gas prices but US citizens make the President responsible for the economy. Companies-Exxon, Shell, Chevron can do anything they want and set prices that they want. All oil companies are exceeding profit margins today. We blame the government but say nothing about the companies. The Buck does stop with the President, and that is common, normal, but the President gets too much credit and too much blame for the economy. Our corporations are not blamed or looked at-they get off scott free. Inflation is now at 8.6%, but gas prices are up 50% from last year. That does not match or make sense. Every country today is dealing with inflation and gas prices. We blame Biden, but all Western democracies/COVID countries are dealing with inflation. It is a global issue. We can deal with this. We can lower demand-buy less, drive less. Carpool, ride bikes, take public transit. We wont do this, but we can lower prices-Lower prices are caused by increased supply or lower demand or combination of both. Do your part. Learn, understand. Read economics-do not look at the bias or biased news. Inform yourself.

Political Ads advocating violence have no place in US

Eric Greitens and his political ad, with armed military personnel hunting RHINOS is not appropriate, moral or protected. This is not advocating gun use, but it is advocating violence. Sarah Palin's ads with Democrats in cross hairs or as a target is not appropriate, moral or protected. This is not free speech. Advocating violence is not protected. Threatening opponenets, even in own party is so anti democratic, so authoritarian. The more you see politicans and leaders advocating violence, you will see people act on this. People will act on violence. People will follow leaders. If you do not think this so so, see Donald Trump and January 6-he advocated violence and he pushed the crowd-the crowd answered, the "The President called us". Ads are targeted to followers and followers will do what Eric Greiten's said-they will attack RHINOS. Adam Kingzinger and his family has been threatened. Dan Crenshaw has been threatened-both Republicans by Republicans. I do not have to mention, Mike Pence and the "Hang Mike Pence" chants on January 6. We can disagree, we can argue, we vote. We can be passionate, we can be forcedful in our talk, but never violent. Violence is not an option and threatening violence is anti democratic, anti Constitution and anti US. We vote and decide; that is the US way. Guns and violence is for other countries not the US. We need to see common ground, see we are all Americans. We are all citizens of the US. Liberals and conserrvatives love the US and love our country. We have the same history, same Constitution, same system, same courts, same roads, same streets and schools. We use the same resources. While we have social media and media bubbles, we use and can access the same resources, parks, libraries, phones etc. We are Americans. Americans decide decisions by voting. We win by voting. If you have a problem with decisions or laws, you vote the party out, you change leaders, change representatives. That is the American way. Stop the violence. Stop the Threats. Stop the ads advocating violence. They have no place in our discourse. Vote no to any politican with violent ads, violent supporters, violence as a voting issue.

Here is what you get if you vote for Republicans in 2022

Republicans for years have wanted to cut taxes and shrink the government. The Republicans want small government. Interesting that we have a large republic-large in population and large in area, so even with a post office, government offices, we have a need for large government to match our needs and population. The founders never said large, but limited government. Republicans in their efforts to lower taxes have increased our debt and deficit. They have made it impossible to enforce laws, regulations or inspect mines, oil rigs or bridges and roads. It is hard to know in this current Republican Party what do they want, so you have to listen to Ted Cruz, Marsha Blackburn, Mitch McConnell and other leaders to give you an idea, what they want: 1) Abortion outlawed in the country-not just up to the States but a total ban if possilbe. 2) Birth control, Griswold v CT overturned and up to the States to limit birth control 3) Take away marriage equality-gays and lesbians and trans will have no rights-no marriage, no employment or rental rights for any LBGTQ persons 4) Interracial marriage - Loving v VA is wrongly decided and up to the States- 5) No right to privacy in any mattters-no rights besides those in 1787-white men with property-those are original rights 6) Education to be privatized-more school vouchers and choice, more restrictions on what is taught-no teaching on slavery or race inequalities- 7) Guns for everyone. Not sure if the NRA or Republicans want Blacks and Muslims to have AR-15 but constitutional carry in every state-you can take guns into bars, schools, everywhere. No limit or restriction to gun rights 8) Flat tax-everyone taxed the same percent-sounds great but the rich will have less in taxes taken out and the poor will be taked so much more-overall, it will increase debt and deficit but it sounds fair. 9) Social Security, Medicare, Obamacare ended-that is the end goal. If they do block grants, privitize, defund or take away subsidies, the goal is to reduce these benefits to Americans-that is a big agenda item. 10) Right to work laws nationwide-no unions, no striking, no workers rights, no employee rights. Go find another job is their motto. 11) No equal pay for equal work, discrimination against women-women should not be working but taking care of the family 12) Christianity rules-school prayer in classrooms and government-Christian values and Christian morality will run the local, state and national government. 13) No minimum wage at all-it will not be raised, and if allowed, removed 14) All issues up to the States-they would like a Confederation, not national government. They prefer the Articles of Confederation versus the Constitution. Every rule, law is up to the States-there is no national rule governing or mandating the States. States can nullify the Federal govenment. 15) Elections are fair if Republicans win, Democrats cannot win. This is stated and implied by Stop the Steal and current events. 16) News is fake if it is does not agree with conservatives or Republicans. Republicans have thier own reality and news and facts. Facts do not matter. Party over country. 17) Minorities, young and Democrats are restricted in voting. Must wait in lines, remove polling places, stations to make it harder for minorities to vote-minorities should not vote. Some Republican representatives have said women should not vote. 18) Democrats are the Devil-pedofiles, groomers, worse than Putin. Republicans have made Democrats against the country, against US, against Children-sex trafficers, and worse. All untrue, but that is their belief."Putin is better than Hillary", "Hillary had sex ring in Pizza place" but teachers are "groomers" and worse. Republicans believe this-Demcorats are ungodly, hate them and hate America. All untrue but a belief and they will act on it. 19) Republicans have voted against Voting Rights, against Anti-gouging laws, discrimination laws and anything to help people. Republicans since 1960's have not voted to help people in any way. (Ok lower taxes but helps rich more than them) They vote against helping Ukraine, NATO, lowering cost of college, lowering prescription drug costs, against healthcare laws, against sensible gun laws-against anything the people want. 20) Hate groups will be permitted and encouraged-Proud Boys, Militia Groups allowed to run wild and be vigilantes. Hate will be normalized and allowed. Hate will be encouraged. 21) President Biden will be impeached-not for crimes but policy issues. President Trump, Clinton, Johnson, Nixon were impeached for crimes and laws broken. Biden will not have broken any law, but he will be impeached due to any issue at the border. Not a crime. 22) Corporations and business will be given more power, more authority to pollute, to have no regulations, to do whatever they want, at whatever cost. Corporations will help run state laws, national laws as they have done under ALEC. Corporations are people so they can deny healthcare to employees, rights to employees and buy elections. 23) The Supreme Court will continue to rule without resitriction taking away rights of people-women, LGBTQ, workers, inmates, arrested, protestors, school children, everyday people. 24) The Consitutition while revered, it should not be followed-States should nullify federal laws, President can change election laws, President is more important than the people-See Trump. Religion is the most important right over speech, assembly. We have a national religion. The Supreme Court ignores Constitituion today, Republicans ignore Constitution today as they work on Big Lie, Deep State, make up new rules-originalism, Corporations are people, money is speech, privacy is not a right, elastic clause does not matter. I think I can go one with more. But realize if Republicans win in 2022, people will lose rights. The country will be more divided, more filled with hate. Repubicans will feel emboldened with a mandate-we voted for them, so they can do what they want. Remember they will win with 30-40% of the vote. This will be terrible. The media will say it is a mandate, Republcans can do what they want. Do not let this happen. Vote. Talk to others. Vote, get people to polls. Republicans do not stand for you or the majority of the public. They stand for "Christians", billionaires, and their own Trump Party. This is scary. The more I hear today about the Republicans, the more scared I am. Please vote. Please talk to others. I do not care you think Biden is Old. Biden is too liberal. The Fascists are ready to take over. Be scared of the Authoritarian, Fascists not make believe socialists. Please. Vote. Please watch and learn. Please VOTE 2022.

Judicial Restraint and Originalism

I do not think any conservative judge believes in judicial restraint or originalism. Too many judges are political and use their opinions over the law and constitution. I hear about precendent, stare decisis, but it does not exist. All judges are activist but it depends on their point of view!! 1) Founders did not believe in standing army-the second amendment was about militia and Brutus from Brutus 1 was worried about Congress destroying and getting rid of state militias-militias to put down slave rebellions!! 2) Founders believed in freedom of speech-was speech symbolic? That was created by conservatives? Did founders believe money was speech? That was created by conservatives. 3) Founders did not believe in poltical parties-founders thought Congress would protect its territory and powers but now it is not done. Party is more important than country. Madison was correct about the dangers of factions. The Supreme Court allows the dangers of factions continue-partisan gerrymandering, partisan rules. 4)Justice Alito believes in originalism?! Based on originialism-no womens rights, no African american rights, no LGBTQ rights, no privacy rights-what is the 9th amendment to ALito? What is included but not stated? 5) Justices make decisions and state that this does not affect other decisions-that is not true. Judges read and politicans read. Politicans now want to state: interractial marriage in Loving v VA was wrong, Griswold v CT was wrong. While Alito says, this Dobbs is only about Abortion, his allies are looking at all the issues. 6) The Founders had the chance to make right to own gun an individual right-it failed. If it was individual right it would be included in first amendment. They were logical. PS Madison had religious exemption for right to own gun-is that militia or individual-hmmm 7) Gun nuts state people have right to overthrow government-see Article 3-Treason-did the court see this?

Voter Turnout is Key and Important. Dems to Vote

While I understand years of mid-terms where President loses terribly. The most famous shellacking was in 2010, Obama getting destroyed. In that election only 41% of the voters voted. Most Republicans, older, white, males vote in all elections. This 41% was seen as a wave, but remember it was only 41%. If Democrats vote, they win. See 1998, 2006, 2018. In these mid terms, Demcorats voted and won. In Presidential elections, Democrats win if they vote. This is not undocumented voting, but registered Democrats voting. While, it seems negative now, remember if Democrats vote, they win. Vote, vote and vote. Do you want Fascism? Do you want Social Security and Medicare defunded, changed? Do you want more gun access and less mental health? Do you want more guns? Do you want less public education, less welfare? Do you want minimum wage removed?Republicans vote against price controls for oil companies, pharmacies. Republicans are against Gay Marriage, LGBTQ rights, against interracial marriage, abortion, privacy rights, even contraception. Be wary. Vote for your rights. Vote and tell others to vote. Vote for diversity. Vote for being kind. Vote for women! Vote for immigrants!!

If you vote for Trump you are RACIST

Donald Trump is a racist. There is no doubt. From birtherism, to to undue everything Obama did. To the Central Park Five, to lawsuits on his rental properties, to his attacks on blacks and people of color. Racists know Trump is racist. Racists hear his words, his calls his talking points. Donald Trump is a racist. There is no doubt. The African American community know he is racist. Latino's know he is racist. The only people who are not sure are racist white americans. I hear many people from Manassas, on Facebook that are from the South-they are Trump supporters but not racist? Really? They support confederate monuments? Racist! They support the Civil War was fought over States Rights-racist!! Support Robert E Lee-racist. If you support Trump, you are a racist. His policies hurt people of color. His talk and his vocabulary are against people of color!! The Wall is racist. His tax cuts are racist and hurt people of color. Getting rid of Obamacare hurt people of color. Now his policies do hurt his own supporters and his policies hurt middle class they are race based. He hates blacks. He hates NBA, NFL and all people of color. His supporters might be ignorming his racist language that the ignoring is supporting his racism. If you ignore his language or if you ignore his tweets, you are supporting racist beliefs. You are supporing racism. You are a racist. I am sorry, if you support Trump today you are a racist. There is no separating his tweets, his talk his speech from your racism. You support his racism. You are a racist. Deal with it. Let's stop racism NOW. Whites need to wake up. Stop racism NOW. Stop Trummp NOW

Stop with the Democrats are too Far Left

The media is constantly promoting that the Progessive wing of Democrat Party is too far left. They keep saying too left and cannot connect with voters. Democrats will lose if they move to far left. This is just wrong. 1) First I don't hear the Republican party is too far right. They are extreme in fasism. They separate families, promote racist policies, take away health care, ban gay, lesbian rights and not a peep. Ronald Reagan would not be a Republican today and I hear nothing about how far right they have gone. The Republicans are fascist, giving all tax breaks and money to corporations, billionaires and hurt the middle class and nothing. 2) Democrats are doing things to help people. Help with college funding, student loans and aid, helping with health care and doctors, helping with income, helping with wages, helping with equality. Why is this too far left? $15 minimum wage is very popular, infrastructure spending is very popular, pre-existing condition rules, expanding health care is very popular. Free community college has been started in Republican Tennessee. I keep hearing this country is center right-false, Liberal policies are very popular and have support. 3) Bernie, Elizabeth are not as liberal as Eisenhower or Roosevelt. They do not believe in Roosevelts Economic Bill or Rights or public ownership of industry. Break up banks not own the banks. Ronald Reagan gave amnesty to millions of undocumented immigrants. Reagan gave speeches for 50% tax on wealthy and the wealthy paying their fair share. Immigrants important to this country. We are not too far left and most left policies are supported by the people. Democrats needs to voice their support and challenge the Right and Media with false ideas. Healthcare over a wall. Infrastructure over deporting or separating families. Help with college over private prisons. $15 minimum wage over tax cuts for millionaires. Climate change or Green New Deal over Defense spending or ICE money. Tax cuts do not spur the economy. Deregulation is a farce and hurts the environment, hurts people, hurts workers. Stop the lies and the conservative talking points. The Debt/deficit is not an issue-do not let Conservatives give a $1.5 Trillion tax cut and then worry about deficits. They spend money and expect Democrats to pay for bills or pay for spending. Fight for our values. Call out the hypocrisy. Call out the racism, fascism. Help the Middle class, help the workers, help the people.

Hypocricy is abundant and so wrong

I am so tired on people only siding with their team. If a Democrat does this it is ok, if a Republican does it, it is fine. No, What is right is right. If you believe the national debt is a problem, that goes for Donald Trump and not just a Democratic president. If a supreme court nominee is not allowed a vote during an election year by Republicans, they must do the same when Donald Trump has a nominee in year 4. IF it is a crime for Hillary to delete emails (it was found not a crime for what she did), then it is a crime for Jared, Ivanka or whoever. Debt or deficit? It used to be important for Republicans, now they ignore Trumps tax cut and its effects. We must keep the truth to both sides. If it is bad for one side, it is bad for the other side. We must be consistent. We are all Americans. I might disagree with you but I need to keep everything consistent. Consistent in laws, consistent in rules, consistent in politics and media. Wrong is wrong no matter my team or side. Right is right, no matter my team or my side. Right now, Republicans are losing this issue. It is one reason I left the Republican Party. They care about Party over Country. It is all team based. Hypocricy knows no bounds. We need to judge all sides by same rules-it is call Constitution. It is called rule of law.

Why would you ever vote REPUBLICAN?

Why would any voter that is not the 1% vote republican? If you are lower income, lower middle or middle class the Republican party of tax cuts do not help you. The reason the Trump voter was angry was that Republican policies do not help them. Tax cuts do not spur growth or jobs or income. The Trump tax cut did not increase income or jobs for people-it was used for stock buy backs, investor gains. Trade while excellent for prices, ships jobs out of America. Workers have lost jobs, wealth and purchasing power. Healthcare? Republicans want to take it away. Better roads, bridges, mass transportation? Republican leaders say no. Expanding social security, disability, equal pay, increased minimum wage? Republican leaders say no and lets reduce. Welfare, food stamps, entitlement programs are cut and hurt. Education is cut. Private prisons, private schools help the wealthy but not the students. Republicans vote against improving and funding education, increased grants, the student debt issue. Every issue that can help people that need the help, Republican leaders say no. Why would Republican voters be angry at leadership? Democrats are not the enemy. Democrats do not want to take away your religion. Democrats will not take your guns. They will not take away your freedoms. You can go to church and believe. All people need to be served. Treat people with respect. Democrats are not the devil and the policies help every middle and lower income person. Currently Republican leaders do not care about the debt. They are shameless. What values? Do they support the constitution? Republican leaders do not care of you or your health or well being. Do not be scared. Do not be fooled. If you vote Republican it is against your best interests.

Are Republicans and Conservatives realizing Trickle Down Economics Does not work?

Take back my country. Leaving the EU. Conservatives are upset, fighting back. Conservatives see loss of jobs, loss of income, less services. Normal regular people, working class people are seeing factories gone, things made over seas and an influx of immigrants. NAFTA, CAFTA, EU, PPP, trade deals, jobs in China, stagnate wages for 30 years, the list can go on and on. Conservatives have a reason to be upset. Conservatives should be angry. Wall Street bailouts started in the US the Tea party and they were right to be upset. People losing housing and bankers being bailed out. The thing is that they have been lied to by business, companies and the Republican Party. The Republican party stands for business. Tax cuts for the rich, reduced spending, less entitlements. Business and the rich do not need these things, but people do. Trade agreements help business and yes they bring lower prices. But at what cost? Conservatives finally see the cost in lost wages, lost jobs, devastated cities. Republican's blame liberals or Democrats. Most conservative, working class people blame liberals and Democrats. That is too bad as liberal policies will help all people. Raising taxes on the rich, spending programs for roads, schools bridges, expanding Social Security and health care help working and lower class people. Conservatives love Reagan and trickle down economics, and the only problem is that it hurts workers, middle and lower class people. I understand the reasons Republicans are mad at the establishment. As Democrats were staging the Gun sit in, the Republican House voted on giving a perk to Wall Street Traders-they do not have to have a fiduciary responsibility for their clients. In other words, a broker does not have to do what is in the best interest of it clients, they just do what is in their own best interest. They can recommend a stock that will go down in value, hurt their client but make the broker a lot of money. Trickle Down Economics-right. Ted Cruz in the campaign was talking about getting rid of the EPA, abolishing the IRS, cutting the debt and all of these things are for business interests not the people. Trickle down economics is horrible the people need to realize business does not have the best interests of Americans. Trump will not help working class people. I have no idea when Trump supporters will get that. Trump is only out for himself-typical business person. Democrats do support business and have corporations as special interests. The idea though is liberal policies help people, all people and not just business. Conservatives need to see who is the real problem-business, and their party leaders.
